Looney Tunez

'Looney Tunez' is an alias for Mitchell Vreeswijk and Jan Stadhouders, both born in Vlaardingen, The Netherlands. As young boys they already had big love for all kinds of music. But their knowledge about music really grew when they started visiting all kinds of clubs where they heard an even bigger variety of different styles of electronic music.



Since 2003 they focused their minds on the harder styles of house music. In April 2005, the 'Looney Tunez' came up with their first 12-inch record and cd single called ‘Verzoekjes’. Many dj’s and radio stations supported this track and so it appeared on lots of great compilation cd's mixed by well known dj’s.

From this moment on the 'Looney Tunez' became more popular and played at lots clubs and events in The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany and Spain.



Some later releases are 'Break It Down', 'Jumpen Klootzak!', 'Pound It Loud' and the big hit 'Doop 2007'. They have also worked together with artists like: 'Ruthless & Vorwerk' (NL), 'Ronald-V' (FR), 'Lobotomy.Inc' (FR), 'Greg.C' (FR), 'DJ Trajic' (US), 'The Playboyz' (NL) 'DJ Tronic' (US) and 'Steff Da Campo' (NL).



After the moment they mixed their second compilation cd called: 'Jump Tunez, mixed and selected by Looney Tunez', they broke through as one of the leading hardhouse dj teams!



In the near future they just hope to produce lots of new music, work together with great artists and show their skills at nice clubs and party's. So you better watch out for some new releases and upcoming performances of these two guys!
