Logic Gonzalez is a Multifaceted Artist/Producer who has been Rhyming since 1990 and producing since 1995. A credited track record from performing

to production backs his Latin influenced urban music.

As a youth back in 1989 Logic decided that Hip-Hop was the genre of choice that he would like to tackle. As a newcomer he brought to the table training in Latin percussion, which he learned from his uncle/godfather Manuel Gonzalez. At about the same time that Logic began transformation into an emcee he also started learning to play steel drums under steel pan great and legend Herman "Rock" Johnston.

Logic says, “What I learned from Mr. Johnstonthat was important wasn’t just playing pan,but how to break apart compositions and stay versatile. This man played classical pieces on steel pan. After that I felt limitless.”

A few years later in 1994 Logic and rhyming partner, Creator Dox,landed an independent record deal for there duo group "Conflict Of Interest".

As time went on the perils of a wrongly run indie took their toll.

Logic cancelled the contract. " I was Like 16 years old and at that age

your thinking ‘I’m signed it’s all smooth from here’, YEAH RIGHT,”

To make matters worse Dox got bagged for doing some dirt and went away for 3 1/2 years. During this time Logic was devastated finishing high school since his partner since 1990 was gone. Low finances and barely graduating made music production school impossible, so Logic became determined to learn the craft of production. Many part time jobs later, flipping burgers, selling cars, selling vacuums, janitor, scamming, hustling, doing whatever it took, he got his first sampler and from then on equipment

became an obsession. In November of 1998 Dox was released. The duo reunited and in late 1999 they start working on a semi parodydirtysouth /

east coast record Called Game Tight under the name "Lg & Dox".

This was later released by Kane & Abel’s Most Wanted Empire label. Disaster hit again when Logic’s mentor Mr. Johnston passed away on Logic’s 24th birthday two weeks before Game Tight was to come out. This made Logic even more aggressive about succeeding. Two months later Dox got two different girls pregnant with due dates three days apart. Still fighting like

always Logic stayed working on music determined to prevail; but what do you

do when Europe is feeling the album and the owners of the label you-re on go to jail on cocaine charges? Still pushing Logic volunteered to keep the label a float through helping out with administrative detail while the CEOs were behind bars; but once again, what do you do when distribution closes its doors and files bankrupt over night?

Logics answer was to go solo Hence the My Hell Project .Due in 2008!!
