Liu Liu

i have been a singer ever since,

and i started playing the piano at the age of 9.

my vocal style is mainly influenced by the music of many different cultures, e.g. irish, scandinavian, indian, breton, latin.

my first encounter with electronic music was made 1997 when recording the track "summertime" with lemongrass producer roland voss being then released on incoming! records on the v.a. vinyl "submerged".

from 2005 on i was taking part in the lounge/ambient project "green empathy"(daniel voss), but some of the song werent released until now.

in 2005 liu lius song "cafe talah" was recorded on the first green empathy album "terratronica" which was released in japan only. "cafe talah" soon landed on a number of compilations (for example "taipei lounge vol.2" and "global vibes vol.2")

in 2007 the official green empathy debut "souvenirs" was released worldwide on the german label "peacelounge" and contains another song with lyrics written and sung by liu liu: "made of love"
