Little Hero’s Biography
Paul (Little Hero) Gayle stems from the beautiful garden parish of St. Ann, Jamaica. Amazingly, but to no surprise, Little Hero is often compared to the Legendary Reggae Icon Bob Marley. This comparison is due to the fact that they share similarities especially pertaining to their natural musical talent and openly sharing their gift with the world through positive music, by preaching, uplifting others, and delivering positive messages.
Like the great Marcus Garvey, who was also rooted and soiled in The Garden Parish of St Ann, Little Hero was taught at a young age to live righteously and to teach those around him to do the same. With a talent that can only be given by the Almighty to inspire, educate and entertain through his undoubtedly excellent vocal abilities and spiritual inclination, Little Hero has managed to transform, convert and positively touch everyone who listens. This is a task that only a few musicians will challenge but Little Hero, whose name is totally indicative to his power to conquer the world with his most powerful weapon, “Music,” has successfully accepted this challenge and is continuously proving that he is indeed a winner.
With his role model being Bob Marley, his passion and love for reggae music, it is to no surprise that Little Hero decided to pursue a career using his vocal, performing talent and positive influence from his icons. Little Hero carefully picked his lyrics after witnessing the power of uplifting words and positive messages. Little Hero felt like he was passed the baton from Bob Marley to rock the world in his own way.
Little Hero first graced the stage at the Kaiser Sports Ground in St Ann. The show was promoted by Courtney Cole of The Roof Label. This groundbreaking performance was the fuse that ignited his flame to super stardom. This caused the demand for him to perform at stage shows island wide to sky-rocket.
His debut and still unforgettable single titled “Pretty Looks” recorded in collaboration with singer Delly Melody was a super success only to be surpassed by his follow up single “God Alone” featuring Merciless. To date this song still continues rocks reggae enthusiasts. This song helped to affirm his name in the Reggae Industry and he began to tour major cities in North America and the Caribbean.
Little Hero took a break from the music industry after being in a near fatal car accident. This only mad him stronger and more determined to teach and entertain positively through music. He has returned to the scene and has come back even stronger than ever under the management of Delroy Roberts.
2005 proved that Little Hero has evolved into a Super Hero by working wonders at all major stage shows by displaying his talents and proving to be a real professional amongst his peers in the industry. The world is now witnessing his potential by his almost home-like position on the reggae charts world-wide with songs like; “Inna De Ghetto” that spent an incredible 18 weeks on Richie B’s top 30 charts and peaked at number 3. the same song reached number 1 on the R.J.R 92 FM Chart where it remained for 3 weeks and also on the Mega Jam Reggae Chart. It peaked at number 3 on the New York Reggae Chart and Number 5 Miami Reggae Chart.
His new album “Revelation” has been released and is doing exceptionally well both locally and abroad. The single “Praise God,” has made it number one on the reggae charts in the Virgin Islands, Jamaica, New York, Miami, Japan and Europe.
Without a doubt Little Hero is always a crowd pleaser, armed with a barrage of popular tunes such as “Inna Di Ghetto”, “The Prayer”, “Freedom”, “No More War”, “Prayer Time,” “ Praise God.” & his monster hit “God Alone.” Little Hero has never failed to deliver the goods on stage. He has performed on major shows such as Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay, Rebel Salute, Western Consciousness, GT Taylor’s Christmas Extravaganza, Morgan Heritage’s East Fest, Reggae Campfire Guiness Sting, Follow the Arrow, Irie Jamboree in New York

Little Hero, born Paul Nathaniel Gayle from the garden parish of St Ann along with other famous stars such as Bob Marley and Marcus Garvey. This one such artiste was given talent by the most high to inspire and educate the world with his excellent vocal range and spiritual lyrical content that will help to change the people of this world.
As a boy in his early teens Little Hero loved reggae music with a passion and then decided that music was his life dream. Inspired by Bob Marley, Little Hero was motivated to use his vocal and performing talents to pursue a musical career.
Little Hero's first performance was at the Kaiser Sports Ground promoted by Courtney Cole, Producer-Roof Label. That groundbreaking performance sky-rocketed bookings for him to perform on all major stage shows island wide. His major stage performances were on Reggae Sumfest, GT Taylor's Extravaganza and STING just to mention a few.
His first single entitled Pretty Looks was recorded in collaboration with singer Delly Melody which was immediately followed by Wonders and Signs both on the Roof Label.
Soon after, he landed himself a hit song God Alone on the Annex Label, in combination with DJ Merciless and Action Fire. These songs got excellent rotation locally and internationally and helped to popularize his status and gave him the opportunity to perform all around the world.
Due to a major accident Hero was forced to take a break for a few years. He is now re-energized and full of enthusiasm and is currently being managed by INSPIRE RECORDS LIMITED. Little Hero's recent recordings are now ROCKING the airwaves namely IN THE BEGINNING which features his younger Musically inclined Brother Andrew whose stage name is PEE ZED, PRAYER TIME, PEACE, TOO MUCH VIOLENCE, NO MORE WAR, IN THE GHETTO, as well as a remix of GOD ALONE on the Inspire Label. His singles are moving steadily up all the major reggae charts internationally.
His debut Album REVELATION has been very well received both locally and Internationally.
Since his return in 2005 Little Hero has been booked for all the major stage shows such as Rebel Salute, STING, East Fest, Reggae Sumfest, Spring Break, Follow D Arrow, Camp Fire, Hype In The Park.
Hero's unique style and lyrical content has reached the hearts of many people both young and elderly alike. He pledges to continue delivering positive and cultural music and is determined to make a difference in the music fraternity.
