Well, there could be a lot to say about Dorsey. So I'm working on it.

Short version, go!.

August 2006. John moves to Tempe. Do an album by December he says.

December 2006. Record with Cold Bones at Gallery of Carpet in Chicago. The Long Goodbye is born.

February 2007. Dorsey starts playing shows.

March 2007. Tim is written. Things are changing.

April 1, 2007. John gets fuckin' destroyed by the Counting Crows April Fool's Day Break-Up joke. Depression sways in, alcohol goes down, and the 6th member of our band is officially initiated.

Summer 2007. John goes back to Chicago for the summer.

September 2007. The Long Goodbye CD release show that the CDs are late for, Hell yeah!

A day later. "Hey let's record again soon, since we've sold 3 of these".

October 2007. Dorsey wins ASU Battle of the Bands and Money! Let's do a record!

November 2007. At least 15 new songs in condsideration, talks of working with Bob Hoag.

January 2, 2008. last song for the record is written/done. Marathon studio practice day. Screw the Fiesta Bowl, we gotta record tomorrow!

January 3, 2008. Day 1 to record is here! Fuck. Bob is sick. Tomorrow!

January 10, 2008. "Man, non-live recording sucks" - me, my 6th day of watching TV in a recording studio.

January 13, 2008. "Man, non-live recording fucking rules" - me, when I get to finally use the guitars I've been staring at for a week.

January 2008. Just done doing a record, basically, so let's fire our drummer! Though it was probably either that or total implosion Introducing John Blades.

February/March 2008. Write a bunch of songs better than the ones we just recorded.

March 20-28, 2008. Studio part 2. Finishing things up, over-do it a little. John turns 21, Limbeck's last 2 shows at the Modified, Whiskey and Flobbs ensues. Band practice does not until the morning hours before Tempe Music Festival on the 28th. Oops.

April 2008. Band: "Hey we're thinking about moving to Chicago to really give'r". Me: "What the fuck would you do that for?"

June 1, 2008. Dorsey's Last Stand in Tempe. Rumor has it there's a recording of this show. I need to hear it. It might be bad. Lots of friends came out and got on stage and tried to drink the whole bar with us.

June 2008. John moves back to Chicago.

August 2008. PJ, Alex and Blades follow suit and trek to "Chicago" too. For the record, a farm in Oswego IS NOT Chicago.

After that, 2008. 4 piece band, New songs, new shows, sounds like it's going well.

Some point, 2008. They leave the farm and move to a house in Berkeley, IL.

December 2008. I fly out to Chicago, unknown to anyone but John for The Skeleton Show Release show. (bootleg/video do exist sort of.) Mix of a lot of things.

February 2009. Band unhappy. Moving home to Phoenix.

February 2009. Flooded basement/gear FTW! Shit hits the fan and basement. Last show disaster.

The next day, 2009. PJ moves home. Soon after Blades and Alex are headed back west.

Now John fronts and writes for Moonshine Matinee.

Alex and PJ are now in Ladylike.

Ben's engaged.

Blades has a kid.

And I hang out in record stores and sometimes get to tell John's people what to do in a studio if they're recording.

I could elaborate a lot. But I'll get to that later.

Adios. Go check out everyone's new bands. - Andy
