Lisa Rae Harriton (born 17, November 1980) is a singer/songwriter who is best known for her work with the alternative rock band, The Smashing Pumpkins (keys/background vocals). Prior to joining the Pumpkins, she was a sought-after performer in Southern California performing her original music, giving workshops and clinics at jazz festivals around the world. It was Perry Farrell, of Janes Addiction and Satellite Party, who recommended her to Billy Corgan for the newly reformed Smashing Pumpkins' first tour/CD release in 7 years. She can be seen in the newly released Smashing Pumpkins DVD “If All Goes Wrong”.

Coming from a musical family, Lisa was introduced to music at a very early age. Her father, Michael, a TV/film composer, and mother Terry, songwriter/studio-singer, started her in piano lessons at age 5. Lisa’s mother was her greatest influence vocally. She learned to sing by attending her mother’s concerts, watching her sing on TV and hearing her voice on numerous records. At age 14, Lisa tagged along to her Father’s orchestral session at Capital Records, Hollywood. He was conducting his original music for the Brazilian film O Quatrilho. The inspiration from watching her father conduct a whole orchestra, was the catalyst for Lisa to start writing. Lisa continued to hone her craft and recorded her first 9 minute Big Band composition in that same studio at Capital Records five years later. Lisa attended and completed classical piano studies at the Royal Schools of Music and received her degree in jazz piano studies at the University of Southern California in May 2004.
