J.Dub iz a Multi Platinum Producer. J.Dub was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. Better known as Da 'D'. J.Dub grew up in & around music. He began playin drums in the church at the age of 8. He progressed to the organ and piano by the age of 9. J.Dub has studied classical, & jazz music. J.Dub studied gospel contemporary music at the legendary Clark Conservatory of Music. Where he studied organ under the great Twinkie Clark. Some of J.Dub's production credits include Ditty, Biggie, Kelly Price, Carl Thomas, 112, SWV, 702, The Lox, Mase, Aaliyah, Gerald Levert, Boyz 2 Men, Toni Braxton, Faith Evans, R.Kelly, and Tank just to name a few. J.Dub started his career as a member of the Legendary hit making team 'The Hitmen' back in 96'. J.Dub went on to produce his first record Swv's 'Someone' feat Ditty. He also produced Kelly Price's groundbreaking smash 'Friend of Mine'. J.Dub then went on to produce Ditty's hit single off of his 2nd album 'Satisfy U' feat R.Kelly. J.Dub has worked on every album Ditty has made. With combined record sells of over 10 million records just on his production on P.Ditty the artist alone! J.Dub has received 2 Ascap awards for both Friend of Mine, & Satisfy you. Some of his other singles include Tank's hits 'Slowly' and 'Freaky'. J.Dub's superior musicianship has also been heard on some of the industry's top hit makers. From Timberland, D.Dot, and Pharrell. J.Dub produced the music 4 Ditty's 2005 Superbowl Performace as well as music production 4 the 2005 VMA'z where he scored the string section for the live performance of the Biggie Tribute. J.Dub has just finished working with Tyler Perry from 2009-2011 where he composed the music for both of his tv shows 'House of Payne' & 'Meet The Browns'. J.Dub just won his 1st ASCAP Tv&Film Award for music in Top Tv Series 'Meet The Browns'. He is now making his mark in Tv & Film scoring.
