Lindbergh Palace started out remixing the likes of Rihanna, Yoko Ono (both remixes were number 1 on the Billboard dance charts), and The Killers. The band, comprised of four people -- Leah Hayes, Jonathan Benedict, Josh Harris, and Alex Hamadey, is now creating their own dark electronic pop songs with ancient synthesizers, spacey guitars and house beats from old drum machines. They are fronted by two singers, Leah (also of Scary Mansion) and JB (Jonathan Benedict, also of Jones Street Station) Both are influenced by New Order, Robyn, and The Knife. You can hear traces of this in the first taste track "Scary" off of their forthcoming self-released and self titled EP, out digitally on December 14th. With its whispery vocals and captivating electro pop bassline, the song recently soundtracked a video for fashion designers Alex and Eli. Leah is also a graphic novelist published by Fantagraphics and JB is a music producer who runs a studio in Brooklyn and composes music for film and TV commercials.
