BIO:

Jaming Tico Chovino (born January 29, 1992 of Guadeloupean & Italian Ancestry), known by the stage name Lil Chain is a rapper currently signed to five independent labels. Raised by a single mother in the small town of Negril, Jamaica, Lil’Chain grew up with music, since his mother but most notably his father are musicians.



His father released a commercial reggae album in 2001/2002 under the name Spootnic Mc selling 20,000 copies in Europe, 80,000 worldwide. Lil’Chain started writing at the age of 5, his first passion was singing. Changing to Rap/Hip Hop at the age of 10, liking his voice better as a rapper, he started taking his hobby seriously and found himself in the studio at age 11. Now 17, after six hard working years, he’s ready to let the world hear his voice.“I didn’t become no rapper overnight, I’v been doing this ever since I didn’t have my grammar straight,” he says.



Garnering small attention on the mixtape scene, He surfaced in the rap game in early 2007, He released his mixtape/album “1,000,000 Degreez” in May 2008. He has been featured on mixtapes hosted by DJ Khaled (Terror Squad), Rick Ross (Poe Boy Ent), Paul Wall (SwishaHouse). He has also done songs with St. Laz (ranked number 1 Indie artist) & rap partners Young Tech & The Represent Cru.



He distinguishes himself from most rappers by mostly rapping in a melodic way. Making it in the rap game is his dream and he sees it slowly come true as he struggles for it everyday.------------------------------------------------------------------
