Like So

Singer/bassist Aisha Cohen formed Like So in the living room of friend and guitarist Aaron Magram. Over the years it morphed from an acoustic duo into a full on soul/rock five piece band performing around New York City. In 2004 they released a self titled EP recorded at Studio G in Brooklyn, NY with Joel Hamilton and Tony Maimone. Like So went on hiatus the following year and during the time explored new directions to take with the music. Now, with help from computer synths and dub inspired beats, they've created a new sound for the outfit that is a nod to the era of punk reggae mash-up ala Grace Jones and The Police. Their 6 song City Life EP is out now.
