Santa Cruz based hip hop crew who released Sayre & Samix's "One Side Away" in 2001, Lost & Found Generation album "Pacific Avenue" in 2003, Coley Cole's "Goldplated Straitjackets" in 2005, and Ashkon's "The Final Breakthrough" in 2006. "Goldplated Straitjackets" received 4 stars in URB Magazine, and Coley Cole subsequently toured with Grayskul, Sage Francis, and Sleep of Oldominion. In 2005, LFG producer Samix collaborated with Josh Martinez on "Midriff Music," which HeavyContact.com called "one of the greatest side projects in hip-hop's 30 year history."
LFG has performed live with Mos Def, Twista, Talib Kweli, KRS-One, De La Soul, Dead Prez, Cee-Lo, Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, Pharoahe Monch, Fat Joe, Blackalicious, Zion I, The Alkaholiks, Crown City Rockers, Kardinal Offishal, Andre Nickatina, Lyrics Born, Hieroglyphics, Anticon, Sage Francis and many more.
