Lesley Gore

Lesley Gore (born May 2, 1946 in New York City as Lesley Sue Goldstein) is an American singer and songwriter, one of the best known performers of the girl group era. She is best known for her 1963 Pop hit "It's My Party", that she scored at the age of 16. Following this hit, she became one of the most recognized Teen Pop singers of the 1960s.
