A band lead by Nazareth-born Jowan Safadi (Jowan is also the son of a carpenter :). Lenzez (i.e. lenses) play alternative Hafla rock in Arabic and English. The themes of the songs vary from Jowan’s personal experience, and deal with various subjects: love and life as a couple, relationship between minorities and majority, Arabs and Jews in other words: the life of a Palestinian, citizen of Israel, nowadays.

Between the years 2001-2003 the band had released two studio albums: the first "Shortcuts" in English and the second, "ID", in Arabic. The band was active in the indie scene till the end of 2007.

Jowan moved back to the north and continues with FANTASH,

and the other guys continue to live, i.e. make music, in Beer-Sheva.



The third and last LENZEZ album will soon be released for free download, so stay tuned.
