I started playing guitar around the age of 7 in Essex , England A work colleague of my Dads had an nylon string acoustic that he had given to his son but it wasn’t working out so he asked my dad if I wanted it. Of course, I jumped on it and threw it about around for a while but soon got interested in actually getting a sound out of it. So after listening to a guitar group from the UK for a while and trying to play along with their songs I decided I wanted an electric guitar!!! I asked my Dad for one and he told me if I could play a whole tune all the way through he’d buy me one. I don’t think he expected it but I got a tune down (not perfect by any means!! I was about 8!!) and played it to him.

He had no choice and bought me a cheap old strat copy!!!

And that was it………………I was off!!!!

My first band was with some school friends at around 11 or 12 years old which lasted a while but I soon got involved in a bunch of other bands one of which was with the drummer from T-Rex. That’s was cool at 13 years old!!!

I was asked to play guitar for a pop/punk band called Junk back in 2000 and that brought me to America. The band did pretty well. I got to travel, record with some great producers , (Ed Stasium, Phillip Stier), and play some of the venues I never thought I’d be playing!!!

Landed an indie deal, a publishing deal where the bands music was (and still is) placed in TV and Movies and a few video games and almost got an offer from Warner Bros for a major deal. Why didn’t we? Shady management!!!!

So here I am. I’m currently playing with an amazing band called The Blackout Trust. Its one of those deals where you find the perfect players and it all comes together perfectly.

Amazing musicians and guys. We also had a couple of tunes placed an a TV show too.

More form TBT later……………………

Music is available on Itunes!!!!!

At this very moment I have been asked to play and record for a Rap/Rock project which has caught the eyes of BMI and Warner Bros. We have a showcase in may.

And that’s it so far!! I’m hoping to get involved in some more projects soon and I am also available for session work too.

Keep ya posted!!!!
