One look and listen at L*A*W (Lyrical Assault Weapon or Loving All Women) and you will see that he is most definitely not your average artist. Especially with nearly 12 songs that he wrote or co-wrote currently being played on various MTV shows like "The Real World" "Next" and "Making The Band" This singer/rapper/producer/songwriter/
multi-instrumentalist and Choreographer has earned him the nickname THE MOST TALENTED KID IN THE MUSIC BIZ or as George Clinton calls him "The Thugged-Out Version Of Prince" because of the fact that his many talents makes him a one-man tour-de-force in the studio and on the stage. More than just good looks, L*A*W carries the torch of true musicianship, witty commercialism and 100% pure entertainment not seen in a long time. His ability to make Hip-Hop-R&B, Funk-Rock, Country, Pop-Jazz & even Techno exist under one roof as well as the precise playing of seven instruments and the perfect balance of killer vocal prowess in addition to serious rhyme & dance skill is winning new fans by the day at My Space and around the world. As he puts it, "Lyrical Assault Weapon is my hip-hop side and Loving All Women is my singing side so either way you look at it, it all adds up to L*A*W". Whether it's partying hard with songs like "Get Down", "Thick Girly Girls" "Walk The Train Car" or "Get Hollywood On Em", Tackling serious subjects like "StepDad" & "I Don't Wanna Be An American Idol" or seducing the ladies with songs like "Naturally Sexy", "The Description" & "Wishing You Were Here", L*A*W gets the job done on any and every level.
Most fans know L*A*W as the famous lead singer of George Clinton's 420 Funk Mob & Enemy Squad. Millions have seen him on David Letterman in his kangol glory singing behind british sensation Amy WineHouse as well as open for her sold-out show in New York City with his own red-hot band, The Funk Auxillary Unit. L*A*W was just spotted performing with Amy after she asked him to join her on the 2007 MTV Movie Awards. In addition, L*A*W was also a regular in Carlton J. Smith's red-hot Soul tribute shows at B.B King's in New York City and has also played The Apollo, Highline Ballroom, The Bitter End, The Lion's Den, Webster Hall, The Cutting Room, Kenny's Castaways, Club Midway, Pussycat Lounge and The Mean Fiddler with his own band and has toured Bogota, Colombia and Zaragoza, Spain with George Clinton's 420 Funkmob in a now classic clip of him singing his ass off on the spot then transitioning into ill lyrical freestyle which is now available on the CD/DVD called "ALIVE IN SPAIN". L*A*W has also expanded his diveristy into films and television with his song "GET DOWN" which was recently featured in the season premiere episode of the Oxygen network hit reality show "The Bad Girls Club", Showtime series "The L Word", Fox-Tv 4 Kids cartoon network's "Dino Kings". and then co-wrote & produced the song "I'm A Lady" by hot new female artist Karmela which was featured on MTV's "Making The Band 4". And as if that wasn't enough, his hot anthem "GET HOLLYWOOD ON EM" is featured in the season premiere of MTV's"The Real World: Hollywood" as the theme song for cast member Greg only to be eclipsed by his participation on the upcoming Prince tribute album in which he was handpicked personally by The Revolution's legendary keyboardist Dr Fink for his red-hot version of the Prince classic "America". L*A*W has amassed a whopping 12 songs for various MTV programs as well as other song licensing for NBA programs & international commercials.

L*A*W was born and raised up in the rough Crown Heights section of Brooklyn in the musically enriched household of the famous Taylor Family. His grandfather is Legendary Blues artist Sam "Bluzman" Taylor, who is known for his songwriting and mentoring of 70s funk group B.T Express, Maxine Brown, and is an original member of Rock pioneers Joey Dee & The Starlighters while his other uncle is Gospel legend Professor Charles Taylor who recorded 75 albums for the Vee-Jay label in the 50's/60's and had a huge early influence on a young man that later became known to the world as Donny Hathaway. His late uncle Bobby Taylor was a 13-time winner at Apollo Theatre while his other Uncle Tony "T-Funk" Alston played brief stints as a drummer for James Brown & Kool & The Gang while his other uncle Rudy Worrell played drums for Millie Jackson in late 70's. "My family was my school for music on every level", says L.A.W. By age 12, he was already touring with his granddad as a back-up vocalist and rhythm guitarist, playing three different instruments (including drums in his church) and by his late teens became a hot commodity on the rap battle scene in Brooklyn during the day and at night, he was with the most popular local band in NYC led by his uncle Tony called The Eturnity Band as a singer/rapper and chief choreographer in some of New York's hottest clubs doing major corporate events along the way.

L*A*Ws music is what he calls Tha Planet 12 Sound which is a combination of modern technology and live instrumentation. His hybrid of Hip-hop/Funk-Rock-R&B with Pop inflections has earned him numerous production and writing spots with hot new artists like Karmela, Natekid, Chrissi Poland, Renee Marino and one of L*A*W's major influences, Funk legend George Clinton who summoned L*A*W to come and do production work for him upon hearing his now infamous demo which led to him becoming an official member of the P-Funk camp on various levels. L*A*W stays true to his roots while achieving commercial success and has done this by opening up for the legendary & current artists that inspired him such as Rhianna, Lionel Richie, Eric Burdon, Rick James, Chaka Khan, Harry Connick Jr, Fishbone, Morris Day and The Time, James Ingram and Deniece Williams. His infectious blend and extreme stage presence captivates the audience and screams longevity. His mission is to bring all audiences together and simply change the game by letting real authentic meaningful music be his calling card the same way Outkast, Kid Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys and Lauryn Hill have done before him. With that, L.A.W is ready to conquer the music world and Billboard charts as well.
