I love this singer & band. Lavay's a wonderful singer who caught the Swing bug with the Swing Revival of a few years ago. Together with her band "The Red Hot Skillet Lickers" (don't you just love that band name?) do a swingin' mix of New Orleans R&B, Jump Blues, Be-Bop, & Swing Standards. They were one of the main reasons we took this trip to San Francisco where we were lucky to catch them doing a "free" show as part of San Francisco Jazz "Live" in Union Square.
