Laurie Mayer Biography
I am a musician/composer/singer and artist
Black Lining is my first solo album, produced with Rico Conning and including mixes by William Orbit. Jagged Rain is the EP from that album with vocal mixes.
I used to be in a band with William called Torch Song. I've worked with William on Strange Cargo and other projects over the years, and I continue to do so. I commute between London and Los Angeles where I have my studio. I am currently working on a new album with Rico Conning of The Lines. I've also just finished working on My Oracle Lives Uptown with William Orbit, to be released on May 4, 2009. I am a photographer and artist, and some of my photos are in the sleeve artwork of this album.
