Nel 2005 gli ShabbadaY



LaSupernovA nascono a Milano come band poprock con repertorio di brani inediti composti da Mattia, il cantante del complesso.



Nel marzo 2007 sotto la produzione artistica di Diego Calvetti (produttore di Max DeAngelis, Francesco Facchinetti e Alessio Caraturo) incidono il brano "Mi rivorrai" ai Platinum Studios di Siena.

Nel periodo a venire partecipano in qualità di ospiti al programma Alice Live e successivamente si ritrovano protagonisti del reality show "Garage Band" di Endemol Italia.



Nel Luglio 2007 incidono il pezzo Serenità ai Massive Arts Studios di Milano.



Nel febbraio 2008 entrano a far parte della band musicisti che già collaboravano da tempo con Mattia, in un altro progetto musicale chiamato “La Zeta del Toro”.



Nel marzo 2008 la famosa rivista per adolescenti "Cioé" pubblica un fotoromanzo sulle origini della band.



Nel marzo 2009 entrano a far parte dell'etichetta indipendente "Raffinerie Musicali", sotto la quale stanno incidendo il loro primo disco che vedrà la luce nei primi mesi del 2010.



Il complesso musicale è composto da cinque elementi: una voce (Mattia), due chitarre (Dave DelToro, Hugo Krauser), un basso (Zabine Chareux) ed una batteria (Fabrizio Barbareschi aka Mr.Beard).



Il repertorio consiste in brani inediti il cui genere si rifà alla new wave britannica dei primi anni 80, unita al tipico cantato tenorile italiano.

LaSupernovA is an Italian band from Milan.



Formed in 2005 and based on the songs written and composed by the singer Mattia, ShabbadaY



LaSupernovA spent two years performing small club gigs in Milan.



In early 2007 the band recorded its first single "Mi Rivorrai" at the Platinum Studios in Siena, featuring the musical direction of record producer Diego Calvetti (poducer of Max DeAngelis, Francesco Facchinetti and Alessio Caraturo).



Released in March 2007, the single earned the band their first airplays on some local radios and tv shows, like "Alice Live" and the reality show known as "Garage Band".



On July 2007 they released their second single "Serenità" after a hard recording session at the Massive Studios in Milan.



In March 2008 the famous italian teen's magazine "Cioé" published a picture romance story about the origins of the band.



One year after they signed to indie label Raffinerie Musicali.



Now they are recordind the first album that should be released in early 2010.



The group comprises vocalist Mattia, guitarist Dave DelToro, guitarist Hugo Krauser, bassist Zabine Chareux and drummer Fabrizio Barbareschi aka Mr.Beard.

LaSupernovA's material was often compared to acts such as The Jam and The Strokes contaminated by an italian tenor voice.
