Last Minet

LAST MINET is Zuri Fadul (rhythm guitarist and vocalist), Jovanna Cedeno (drums), Freddie Mowery (lead guitar), and Anthony Mannine (bass).
The band was started up by Zuri in June 2006 for a local battle of the bands. After writing three songs, scooping up members, and teaching riffs hours before the show, the extremely appropriate name was created. The band performed as the first all female rock group in Fort Lee, NJ and with a mostly improvised set, they walked away with the $500 prize.
The band is well known for their personalities and desire to write and perform music. LAST MINET kept going strong with two of its female members (Zuri & Jovanna). In spite of going through different members and add-ons, each change has proven to be valuable for them. Finally, with a now completed lineup, the band is looking stronger than ever. They have played countless shows at many venues in the NY/NJ area such as, The Knitting Factory, FATBABY, Kenny Castaways, School Of Rock, and Love Sexy.
Currently, the band is working on new songs, recording an EP, & getting merch. You can also check them out on the DZAMBO Stage (former East Coast Indie Stage) at Oceanport, NJ for the Vans Warped Tour 2011!
