I've only seen Voyagers of Icarie once, and my knee-jerk reaction was that of a dude who hears The Cure for the first time. Gothic rock was the first phrase who came to mind. So many labels in one description, and yet not one opinion formed. I just sat there, slowly realizing that my confusion had drifted to serene attention.

There isn't much to be said about Voyagers of Icarie that isn't an excess of their music. No funny banters, no stage antics, nothing. It was merely great music played astoundingly.
