WORK IN PROGRESSOkay, so everyone keeps getting on to me about not having posted a bio. I've tried. It seems like everytime I go to start one, I'm suddenly at a loss for words. But I guess I'll try once more now, so that at least something is up. until something better finds its way to my head. Here goes.Music is my life and always has been. Through every stage of life, every range of emotion. The high, the lows, the in-betweens. Every layer of who I am and who I am becoming. I live the greater portion of my life in song, and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's been quite a journey. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX, where I sang my first solo at the age of 4 at some little church on the Southside. I began writing lyrics, which at the time I just called poems, at around age 12. I spent much of my teens singing around Texas, everywhere from weddings to funerals to talent shows to churches to school recitals to outdoor events(festivals, picnics) to prisons.In 1997 I made my way to Nashville, TN, where I still reside. I have honed my craft after years of genre jumping, false starts and setbacks. But through it all I'm still here and enjoying the journey, making the music I was made to make.
