Lagato Shine

No stranger to hard work and familiar with controversy, throughout his quest to establish himself amongst hip hop's elite, Lagato Shine has found himself in the midst of an ideal musical atmosphere. One in which he can independently display his artistry and capitalize to the fullest potential.
"Those that hear me, like me."
The problem has been reaching the masses all at one time. Now as Founder & CEO of Last Run Entertainment, Lagato has strategically positioned himself to win.



The year was late 2010, the studio was packed. To Lagato it was just another session.
However, to those who witnessed, it became obvious that Lagato wasn't any ordinary artist.
The song was a freestyle over Jay Z's "Threats" track. The verse Lagato laid over the beat received such high praise, a MTV employee who was in attendance submitted it to MTV2's Sucker Free Countdown. A month later it was aired and showcased as The Sucker Freestyle Of The Week.

In 2011 Lagato secured a distribution deal for his company Last Run Entertainment through Orchard, who distributes the likes of TVT Records, Wu Music Group, and Babygrande Records to name a few.
"The deal with Orchard gives us an outlet, we are no where near where we wanna be, but we're headed in the right direction."
Lagato Shine's debut mixtape is set to release summer 2011.
