I'm a London based singer/songwriter currently working on an album with Peckings Records. Songs released on Peckings label to date are; God Bless The Child, Breaking Up, I'm In The Mood For Love, Love Doctor, What A Difference a Day Makes, You, Is This Love, Book Of Job, At Last. I also sang "Wonderful World" on a Cousins Compilation and Want To (Weakness in Me) on a Mafia n Fluxy Compilation album. More recently I was featured on Lloyd Browns "Brownie Points" album on a track called Let Music Feed. I have been singing for many years and was signed to Galaxy Records in 1987. However nothing much came of it as I wanted to sing traditional reggae and they had other ideas. Nearly got eaten alive by a shark, but lived to tell the tale. I then got into my own production and got a little home studio set upjokes.i had the first steinberg pro 12 programme, then upgraded to pro24, and then yes you guessed it, Cubase was launched, had to go there, the computer was an Atari 1040. Now thats giving some age away people lol. Worked on several projects with local musicians, and then in 1993 I met up with Roame Lowry of Maze and was part of an in-house production team involving various talented singer/songwriters/musicians. It was very difficult to get the project off the ground due to the speed at which the UK music industry works. I was invited to the states to work further on my career but unfortunately I had family committments that prevented me travelling at that time. After that I tried to give up singing as I cried about it more than i rejoiced in it. So I gave up singing, but it never ever left my system. In late 2003 I went to Peckings records with "an idea for a riddim" Chris Peckings told me the prices for the studio hire and asked me who I was gonna get to voice the track for me. I explained that I might try to voice it myself. Chris looked a little suprised and asked me if I had any demo's on me. I said no but asked if he had the riddim track handy. He said yes, but that he didnt have time to go down to the studio (which those times was at the back of the shop) I asked him to play the track and sung to Chris in the shop. A few days later I voiced the track for Peckings and I haven't looked back since :)
