Laco Lucenic (born November 23, 1952) is a Slovak musician and music producer, and a member of the famous Slovak bands Fermata, Prudy, Modus and Limit. He is also popular for his role as a judge on the Slovak Pop Idol (Slovensko hlada SuperStar).
Growing up during the sixties, he became fascinated by the "electrifying" music of the Beatles, the Kinks, the Rolling Stones and other bands of the time. In his project called "Satisfactory", he plays music from the sixties. In November 2006, the show has been released on a DVD "Satisfactory Live In Concert" under Laco Lucenic's private label doubleL.
As a guitarist, he has played with other Slovak artists such as Pavol Hammel, Marian Varga and Miroslav Zbirka. He has produced albums for Slovak and Czech singers and bands such as HEX, IMT Smile, Peha, Slobodna Europa, Miroslav Zbirka and Marika Gombitova. His own albums "Bodliak na plavkach", "Zastavky na znamenie" and "Svetlo (.a pocit bezpecia)" have now—after a long time—been released as a 2 CD set called "Laco Lucenic Komplet". His seventh studio album "XLL" was released on December 17, 2007.
