LA BOA is an schizo subject, half man, half snake, gathering, through his life and music, influences from East to West.

La Boa is an Spanish original.Singer, songwriter and trend setter has run through all kinds of music from rock to flamenco, oriental to salsa, from vintage boleros to new rancheras and from latin-swing to trance (real one).

Lyrics speak for a unique universe, classic but risqué, spanish flavour but cosmopolitan nature. A sharp, mischiveous and deviant character for times to come.

Songs have been covered by various people, Maria Salgado, Arahí, Burruezo & Bohemia Camerata and Lucrecia among others. Most memorable was his collaboration with leading Cuban trombonist Juan Pablo Torres ("Clara").

Songs like La Noche de la Iguana and Clara were main themes to movies Balseros and Para que no me olvides– have become Latin standards. Others like La Sombra or Un crimen en tu vida, kinky rumba, an inspiration to many.

Mantra Mi Querida Babel –main tune for radio show Mundo Babel– is in the memory of thousands of people and has been covered by Banda Inaudita and a number of versions have been played by the likes of Gerardo Núñez, Bebo Valdés, El Cigala, Vocal Sampling, C.R.A.G. o Faltriqueira.

Has travelled far and gone places but lives in Mogador, the ultimate frontier.

Snakes are. but only one is La Boa.
