Kyven

Kyven is a pop electronic male duo born in the damp basement synth labs of Boston's Berklee College of Music. Steven, a highly caffeinated and fiercely driven superfan of 80s synth pop, and Kyle, a very tall and lanky folk-head with a soaring tenor, seemed an odd pair to be making music. But after studying and collaborating together in the Northeast, they started writing pop/electronica jams and moved to New York to be at the nexus of the dance pop world. Steven, producer/songwriter/vocalist, infuses his love for synth hooks and East Coast dance to deliver an engaging pop sound while Kyle, vocalist/lyricist/songwriter, harnesses his California roots to deliver smooth, catchy and captivating vocal lines.
Extensive internet radio play, film, television and commercial licensing and international gaming exposure have created a strong fan base over the life of the duo's first three albums, including several collaborations with Ultra Records' DJ Serge Devant. But 2011 marks a true turning point for Kyven. The guys have spent enough time honing their skills and are now ready to hit New York with all they have. Playing packed gigs in the iconic East and West Villages and delivering a brand new, nonstop high-energy album, it's clear the boys mean business.
