KUNG-FU 77's adventures started in december 2000 by Jason Burtally (ex-Lacrymogènes, ex-Bumpers) and was quickly on the same stage of famous belgian bands at this moment as Flexa Lyndo, Sharko, Mud Flow,. KUNG-FU 77 give some thrills to his audience with a stunning tracklist including catchy rock songs and melancholic pop songs. The last gigs has been done with major bands as Hitch, Triggerfinger, Vismets, Nada Surf.
Releases: "DRIVE-BY SHOOTINGS" (E.P.-2004, including D. Bartholomé from Sharko on a title) and "I WISH YOU WERE HERE" (L.P.-2008). You may find us among independant compilations as the "2d volume of Massacrés belges" and the " Compilation 1". The musical past of frontman Jason's pretty full of musical experiences and shared the stage with major french alternative rock band as a teenager (Slugs, René Binamé.), then with Queens Of The Stone Age and Marky Ramone, has given some help to Torpid, Sportdoen, Philaretordre, Tsuki Moon and did a couple of TV theme for Mobistar ads. In november 2010, Jason was invited to play for a solo acoustic performance in Tokyo. Since, a new record is scheduled for may-june 2012 With that touch!
Actually, the band doesn't exist anymore and the name's linked to a label, showing some alternative belgian bands.
