Cristian Pugliese, in arte Kriss, e' un giovane e talentuoso produttore del sud Italia.
La musica ha cominciato ad essere parte attiva nella sua vita fin da piccolo quando, alla tenera eta' di 8 anni, comincia a studiare pianoforte e tastiere.
Tra i diversi tipi di musica e' il jazz, con la sua improvvisazione e il suo swing, a catturare completamente la sua attenzione insieme alla musica elettronica.
Di li' a poco la curiosita' e la irrefrenabile tecnologia portano Kriss a "scontrarsi" con i programmi di editing audio.
Nasce un nuovo amore per la modulazione dei suoni, sia anologica che digitale, e per l'infinita' di idee a "portata di mouse".
La fusione tra il suonato e il digitale, tra le macchine analogiche e la modulazione dei suoni diventa un mix perfetto per poter sperimentare nuove strade e poter proporre un proprio "Brand".
Poter descrivere una sua traccia non e' facile, groove potenti che girano su linee di basso mozzafiato contornato dal elementi melodici derivanti dai suoni studi.
La sua ricerca musicale compie un ulteriore passo in avanti quando, nel 2001, si trasferisci a Rimini.
Nella nota citta' del divertimento non ci mette molto a farsi notare e trova subito il supporto di altri dj/produttori
quali Buck, limo, Sandro Russo, Pepe & Giaga aka Margot , Frankye e Nuel con i quali crea un legame che va oltre la semplice collaborazione.
E' proprio con uno di loro, Limo, che crea il progetto "The Southern Alliance" riscontrando ottimi feedback da tutti gli addetti ai lavori.
Cominciano cosi' le prime pubblicazioni discografiche su "Autist rec" di Berlino e su "Uomo records" con il singolo "A Gift for you".
Nel 2007 Fonda insieme a Sandro Russo e Limo la "Undercuts records", etichetta che esprime a pieno la sua attuale corrente di pensiero proponendo suoni evoluti e beat techno, ricercando e promuovendo nuovi e validi artisti.
Tra le sue recenti produzioni merita un ascolto particolare l'e.p. prodotto su "Undercut" insieme al socio Sandro Russo (Russo & Kriss Nyanya e.p.) che propone il background di entrambi gli artisti in una fusione di stili e sonorita' affascinanti e devastanti per la pista.
Un anno dopo, nel 2008, approda a due importanti label del panorama elettronico: "Foundsound / Unfound sound" di Philadelphia, con "NO.MAD e.p." nel quale l'espressione jazzistica di Kriss emerge prepotentemente, e su "Resopal Schallware" con l'ormai consolidato e riconoscibile sound prodotto insieme a Sandro Russo.

Kriss is a young and talent producer from the south of italy. The music had an important role since he was eight years old and started to play piano. Jazz is his real passion the jamming and the swinging catch his attention, few times later technology and audio editing programs let Kriss discover a new world. The potential of the digital modulation and the endless possibilities of computer music push him to fuse analog and digital in a very personal way. His music is not easy to describe: pumping grooves and killer basslines are the trademarks. His reserach goes forward when in 2001 he moves to Rimini. There he was soon supported by other dj / producers as Buck, Limo, Sandro Russo, Pepe & Giaga aka Margot, Franky and Nuel.
It's with one of them, Limo, that he creates "The Southern Alliance" receieving excellent feedbacks by the insiders. Together they started to release the first productions on the Berlin "Autist rec" and "Uomo records" with the single "A Gift for you". In 2007 he found, together with Sandro Russo and Limo, the "Undercut records", an important platform where
the idea is to produce his own unique style, composed by evolved sounds and techno beat,
and in the meantime giving the chance to young and talented producers to give it a try.
Amongst his recent productions worth a particularly listen the EP produced with Sandro Russo (Russo & Kriss Nyanya e.p.) In wich you will find the background of both artists in a fusion of style and sounds fascinating and devastating for the dancefloor. In 2008 he produced for 2 important labels of the electronic scene: "Foundsound / Unfound sound" of Philadelphia with "No mad ep" in which the jazz expression of Kriss emerge. "Resopal Schallware" with the well-established and recognizable sound product together with Sandro Russo.
