Kris has seen all sides of life as a musician. From his humble beginnings playing the working men's clubs, in his home town on the Isle Of Sheppey, to the dizzy heights of performing on some of the world's greatest stages including London's Royal Albert Hall and Tokyo's Budokan. He has also appeared on credible TV shows Later with Jools Holland, Top of the Pops and America's Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Since taking the decision to follow his heart and go it alone, his music is as primitive as you can get. Just Kris, a guitar and the stomping of his foot. Though his music is firmly rooted in the blues, his tastes and influences are wide and varied. It's this open mindedness that makes Kris's recordings and performances free from repetition, playing a John Fahey inspired instrumental, to a desert blues trance or a good ole John Lee Hooker stomp and boogie.
Having performed the length and breadth of the country over the last two years, Kris's reputation and hard core following is growing by the day. This is backed up by the stunning success ofhis debut album '02/01/1978' which received rave reviews from the music press, both at home and abroad.



In short, Kris is a world class musician, whose goal is not world domination or financial greed, but to make great, primitive, human music.



KRIS DOLLIMORE - 'Now Was The Time'
Kris's eagerly awaited second album has finally gone to press. It has been a long time coming, having had many distractions along the way and some of the tracks have been played live for some time now.
'Now Was The Time' is a mix of originals and covers, vocal tracks and instrumentals and is truly representative of what you would hear at a live gig. Some tracks were recorded at home and some in the studio, all were once again mixed and mastered under the expertise of Jim Riley, at Ranscombe Studios, in Rochester.
The release date is scheduled for late October, with an official launch night being held at The Bottleneck Blues Club, Rochester, Kent.
Kris is already working on the next album, so watch this space.
