Founder and President of Knockout Musica, “K.O.” was born Jackson Michael Infante in the Dominican Republic in 1982. During the early stages in his childhood Jackson had always portrayed a love for music, but by the age of 10 was when it became evident that he was going to pursue a career in the music industry. Beginning with some freestyle rapping and singing with his friends in the streets of the Dominican Republic, he also took an interest in being a Disc Jockey, mostly at parties thrown for close friends and family. In 1995 K.O. traveled to America for the first time with his Mother and 2 younger siblings, they decided to stay. NYC was where he stared meeting others that were also interested in making music, such as Jota , Kalimete and V.J., who later became close friends of K.O. The four friends, who later became known as los “ Arkangeles Negros", began to perform and do shows with in local clubs, school auditoriums, and even house parties throughout the New York City area. Later on in 2000 the group breaks up due to some difficulties, but “Kaly” and “K.O.” remained close friends and therefore stayed with the group name. K.O. had already been producing the records for the group but it wasn’t until the separation that he realized it was “Do or Die”. Together K.O. and Kalimete (K2K/Arkangeles) appear on a mixtape CD named "Puro Sabor" with the hit song "Morena Ven Bailame". The CD, which was under sony/jellybeans records, was a success within the Hispanic community. Four years later K.O. meets two very talented artists by the names of Saweso and Sensato who are more popularly known as "Del Patio". The trio hit it off right from the beginning. They helped each other develop a Win-Win situation, that still to this day has not failed them. Del Patio, as a singing group, now has a bonafide producer, that can come up with sensational records tuned to fit their style, and K.O., as a producer, now has exceptional artists that won’t let his beats go unheard by the streets, and more importantly, record labels looking for new talent. With his success working with these artists, Jackson began to produce for a lot of local artist such as Lyon, Shanny, J-Cob, Rey, V.J., El Eric, Khryz and other. Today K.O. still does not have a second to rest. He is all over the place concentrating more on the production side of the industry, but still never forgetting that he still an artist at heart, waiting for the right time to once again continue with his Rapping/Singing career. K.O. is an extremely accomplished young artist who does it all from Reggaeton to Hip-Hop, R&B, even Merengue and Bachata, and is never afraid to experiment with new things. This along with his desire and hard-work ethic is what makes him stand out from all other young artists and producers, and would accurately place him in a sole category called “Unique”
