Refreshingly the music has bite, but also a depth derived from its rousing

guitar riffs, electro-edge and rippling beats. The intensely elegant sounds

this band is producing will connect them to people from much further afield than their hometown of Aarhus in Denmark.



'Their nu-shoegazer stylings have already attracted musical acclaim. Dennis

Ahlgren (Tina Dico, Vincent Van Go Go) actually produced the Slow Motion E.P. for free,

citing his admiration of the music, and in particular Randis disturbing,

fragile and yet soothing voice, as the reason.



On stage, is where the band really thrives, where audiences can get a chance to fully absorb the mystifying power and beauty of Kiona. Their stage-presence radiates a self- confidence and belief, which is absolutely contagious.



Following the warm reception that the Slow Motion E.P. has received from

Denmarks largest national radio station, P3, the band has played several shows in London and is planing on doing more in 2006.
