Formed back in 04 with the sole purpose of making the loudest and most heaviest of heavy metal, Kingsize Blues have made a name for themselves on the underground circuit as young upstarts with a true hunger for success. With the release of two self produced demos (2004) and the appropriately titled EP: “Live Fast and Die”(2005), the band saw themselves riding a tirade of hell-raisin’ campaigns up and down the country with the likes of God Forbid, Mendeed, Entombed, Crowbar, Anthrax, Will Haven, Stampin’ Ground (rip) and Testament throughout 05’ and 06. Being invited to play festivals such as Bloodstock (both indoor and outdoor), having shared stages with bands such as the Haunted up at Damnation festival and receiving rave reviews for their main stage performance at London’s Uxfest, these boys have earned themselves a reputation as an incredible live act full of raw aggression.

Kingsize Blues have finished working on their debut album "The Introduction To Self Destruction" which will be out in 2008 and it is their fastest and heaviest work to date.

Kingsize Blues' debut EP 'Live Fast & Die' is available now on Anticulture Records

"The UK's metallic fightback is well amd truly underway now, and Kingsize Blues have already picked up a sizeable following for being one of the best of a new breed of shit-kicking riffmeisters. The opening track from the band's "Live Fast And Die" debut EP is a scathing onslaught of blackened thrash, bulging with insistent melodies and hate-ridden vocals. The Next track is called 'Taken For A Cunt'. Commendable Behavior. ”. Kerrang! 2005

"Massive guitars, soaring melodies, skin blistering vocals and a tsunami inducing rhythm section; it's not hard to see why London quintet Kingsize Blues have developed such a formidable reputation in the UK, when they play music as catchy as this, it'd be churlish to grumble ”. (4/5) Zero Tolerance 2005

"Next up it's Kingsize Blues, a muscle bound metal band that, by rights, should be sitting at the top of the british heavy metal tree KSB's set has such unstoppable momentum and pummeling power that you have two choices - stand agog or flip out. Many take the second option, clearing half the Barfly floor to knock heads and cartwheel around! ”. Rocksound 2005
