What the mags and rags have to say:

"One of the most distinctive local rock acts on the circuit.Kim Collins and her band have staked out a unique place in the Nashville music scene over the past couple of years, employing an exotic hard rock sound a style reminiscent of the rock mysticism of the late 70's, with Collins' sensual vocals ranging high and low over fleshy arrangements that emphasize the incantatory powers of rhythm and the seductiveness of hard-edged music." Noel Murray, Nashville Scene

"The Exit/In Hosts one of the most powerful, fully-realized live rock acts that Nashville has to offer." Scene Music Editor

"The stylistic mélange here is wondrous. Breathless (Kim's Fable's debut LP) traverses the globe.the long-awaited becomes truly remarkable.Airplay on Nashville's progressive Radio Lightning 100 has brought lady-in-waiting Collins the awareness her talent deserves, and shows what happens when radio encourages diversity, and the triumph of the worthy." Lenny Kaye, producer (Patti Smith, Suzanne Vega, Soul Asylum)

I met with Kim twice to interview her. The thing that struck me most after the time we shared was how genuinely happy a person she seemed to be. Unfailingly polite and charming, she has an aura of positive energy around her. She exudes good karma. She smiles a lot. She made me smile a lot. In an industry that tends to beat people up and make them cynical, that can be unusual in an artist. It is also refreshing. Shes the type of person you want to root for, that you hope does succeed. Her band does not sound like any other band and that should help them become stars. -John Hood, Blink Magazine

".Sultry, hypnotically fine pop-rock band fronted by the incomparable Kim Collins, draws attention on Middle Eastern influences as well as the usual ones. Cold Hearted, from Kim's debut CD Breathless, has become something of a local anthem." Rage music editor
