KILO BROWN was born in the city of Corpus Christi, Texas, his family relocated to New Mexico after his father was incarcerated for drug trafficking. KILO BROWN began rapping at the age of 15 and was soon asked to join a local rap group. KILO BROWN knew that he had what it took to pursue music full time and decided it was time to launch his solo career. KILO BROWN released two solo projects, Southwest Gangsta and Hood Hop. Gaining much underground buzz in the southwest states quickly moving units it showed KILO BROWN had what it took to be a solo artist. Now on the buzz of having two solo projects under his belt and starting to preform shows through out the southwest his life changed almost in an instant. KILO BROWN was in a tragic car accident that took the life of his close friend, Adrian Rodgiuez. Dealing with the death of his close friend, Adrian , and with now being father, KILO BROWN decided to take a break from the rap game. After a two year break KILO BROWN was ready to get back in the studio and put out thousands of promo cds and showed he still had what it took to make it in music. After being discovered by a promoter in 2005, KILO BROWN was sent on the road doing many shows and opening for major head liners such as CHINGO BLING, LIL ROB, MR CAPONE-E, ZIG-ZAG (of NB Ridaz/Nasty Boy Clique). In 2007, KILO BROWN started to expand business and with the help of close friend and fellow rapper, KANE, the indie lable HOOD FELLAS ENT was started. KILO BROWN hit the studio to record the labels first release EVERY DAY HUSTLE. The album was finished and put out in the late fall of 2007. Everyday Hustle was a big regional hit selling over 3,000 cds independently.



KILO BROWN didn't stop there and started working on a new album titled "Money Over Everything" which was released in July 2008. Money Over Everything or M.O.E. was quick to pick up where Everyday Hustle left off. Money Over Everything sold over 5000 units and after KILO BROWN sparked interest with a distributor out of Japan, KILO BROWN officially went international. KILO BROWN's 2nd release Money Over Everything featured such acts a THE GAME, LUCKY LUCIANO, and many more. Money Over Everything included the regional hit Living My Life and a video was shot for the song as his lead single. KILO BROWN then went on a promo tour of the Southwest and it was back to the hustle again, in-store signings, car shows and live performances all over Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada.



KILO BROWN is currently at place he knows so well. The Studio. KILO BROWN is now back in the studio working on his highly anticipated album "Ready For Whatever". KILO BROWN is working closely with his new in-house producer ARSIN creating a sound that is sure to make KILO BROWN rise above the rest and take him to that next level. KILO BROWN is soon to be a threat and a know figure in the Latin, Hispanic, Chicano rap scene and even beyond those markets.
