MC Killo Killo A.K.A DJ Voi – Khan



Born in Novi Sad, Serbia 1975.

His real name is Vojislav Malesev.

Works in the Serbian National Theatar in Novi Sad

as a singer in an opera choir.

He is a lead singer and a frontman of a pop-reggae band called DRUM’N’ZEZ from Novi Sad where he interpretes his own poetry and music.www.drumnzez.com , www.myspace.com/drumnzez

He also has a “stand alone” project as a reggae-ragga MC under the nick Killo Killo www.myspace.com/killokillo

where he sings over roots-reggae or ragga riddims using again his poetry and sometimes adding some oriental shades to existing tunes.

Recently founded a live band able to play riddims for him in highly energetic fusion of funk, reggae-dancehall vibes.

As a DJ he actively takes part in all events organized by Global Village People, an organization which collects all kinds of world music, and is involved in concert bookings and program selection of WORLD MUSIC stage on EXIT festival in Novi Sad.

His favourite musical interests are mostly related to his ‘trance-global’ thinking, based on an idea that by listening to music of India, middle East, Balkan, north Africa and Amazonia one can find spiritual happyness and soul fullfilment.

Smartly ‘swimming’ among all those musical influences while singing or spinning music he is capable of making people dance and enjoy themselves in modern rhythms combined with various traditional heritage of the third world, but can also sometimes drive people into a kind of meditational trance or one step away from the mystical experience.

Perfomed a lot in Serbia but specially proud on the perfomances on EXIT festival 2006. and 2007.in Novi sad, Trenchtown festival in Subotica 2006. and 2007., and Seasplash in Pula, Croatia 2007.

During the summer of 2007. performed in Paris in “Divan du monde” along DJ Click and DJ Kosta Kostov, in Dortmund in the “Domicil” club alongside DJ Katja Kubikova and in january 2008. shared stage with Kompott party at “Stadtgarten” and Shazalakazoo at “Gabaude 9” klub in Cologne and in “OST” club in Vienna with Dunkelbunt. In the summer of 2008. he took part in Go East party in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Juicy Fruits festival in Dortmund, Germany and again on EXIT festival, Novi Sad, Serbia.

Appeared on the Dunkelbunt’s album “Morgenlandfahrt” with

Blistering Heat song, published for a “Chat Chapeau” lable , Austria.

i ispostavilo se da se radi o pravom potezu.

sve poznate svetske riddime & verzije a i one manje poznate koje je obogatio svojim textovima i melodicnim pevanjem

sada mozete cuti u izvedbi prekaljenih novosadskih muzicara(bubanj Tegeltija (Milacopezo), gitara1 Mate (DRUM'N'ZEZ), gitara2 Smuk(Zbogom Brus Li), bas Njamzes II, klavijature Laza (Milacopezo) i samog autora gospodina Killostera(DRUM'N'ZEZ) :) .
