KILL CITY

Kill City formed in the summer of 2004 by vocalist/bassist Rick Three, guitarist Kevin Apgar and drummer Turbo. The band has an in your face style and approach that combines several different influences such as 77 style punk, power pop, 70’s glam, and blues based rock n roll. The band has made many waves in the local/regional Ohio scene opening for such notable national and international acts such as The Bronx, Electric Frankenstein, The Bellrays, Broken Teeth, American Dog, Gito Gito Hustler to name a few.



Locally the band has been featured in the magazines CityBeat and CinWeekly, and then have been featured in a cover spot in CityBeat promoting one of Cincinnati’s biggest punk festivals Cincy Punk Fest. In 2006 Kill City was nominated for best punk artist at the Cincinnati Entertainment Awards. The band was also featured in the British based Classic Rock Magazine and included on the compilation called "Sons of Guns" which had several modern artists who drew influence from Guns and Roses and was compiled by none other than Sleazegrinder himself. The band currently has put out a self financed debut release, "I’ll Keep Telling The Same Lie… .One Day You’ll Believe It."



The disc contains 7 songs full of hooks and hard hitting guitar laden rock and roll. Also the band is currently looking for new management/agent and plans a tour in the fall for the promotion of "I’ll Keep Telling The Same Lie…" and to tap into new markets to deliver they’re style of undying rock n roll devotion.
