Kidnapping The City

It all started a couple years ago through a series of social networks and defunct bands in the Southern CA suburbs of the Inland Empire. The shows were played, the lineups changed, and the in end so did the first version of the band. As they cater to a do-it-yourself work ethic, their energetic live show and developing fan base has become anything but predictable. Fast-forwarding to a new premise set, Kidnapping The City honed their craft and self-produced their debut album, Indirections EP, which incorporates a theme based on idealism and the weight of a clarity search. Complimented by compelling guitar work, a bold rhythm section, and dynamic yet candid vocals, this female fronted trio, featuring members singer/guitarist Emilie Corpuz, bassist Alex Araujo and drummer Jack Roche, has come to deliver a unique twist on indie rock sound.
