KIDD (born July 25th 1987) is a New Orleans-based record producer, rapper, and songwriter who have opened up for artist such as Kanye West, T.I., Young Buck, B.G. and many more.

Kidd first started rapping in elementary where he would beat on tables during lunch time with pens and pencils drawing much attention from fellow students and teachers in the lunch room. From then on Kidd was asked from school teacher to join the band which was an honor and a great excuse to get out of class for 45 min. There he mastered the Snare drum and learned how to read music.

Later on Kidd ended up in middle school where he marched for Fannie C Williams Playing Tenor Drum and Cymbals during New Orleans Parade Seasons. But sure enough it was time to move on to High School (Sarah Towels Reed) where Kidd ended up dropping out of the band because his interest was elsewhere like girls and fashion but, None the less the music was still embedded in his soul. Kidd best friend Brandon Mims (RIP) who stayed in his neighborhood introduced Him to a Beat Making Program Called Fruity Loops which caught his attention right away, he began not wanting to do nothing but make beats even stayed inside majority of the time to make music and write rhymes. He Then Ran into a Cousin who was also rapping and introduced him to a few friends which they formed a group “Full Effek” Full effek Started Performing on local TV show All Good In Da Hood where the show owners saw the talent instantly and wanted to manage them. Full Effek then was put on the big stage in New Orleans superdome for Russell Simmons Hip Hop Summit. They performed in front the city where they were in the eye of Boss Hogg Entertainment Melvin Foley who began taking Kidd and his group on the road as opening acts.

Kidd Managers John & Glenda Roberts then took them to Mannie Fresh “Real Big” video casting call where they gave a demo to “Slim” Ronald Williams who handed it to Greg Green of Cash Money Records. The group didn’t think they would get a call back but, two weeks later they received a call asking to come to the studio where the group was anxious to be around artist they grew up listening to. They then traveled to Atlanta and Miami with Cash Money Hanging out at the Hit Factory while “Baby” recorded his “5 star stunna “Album. Kidd felt it was a pleasure to be around them in a million dollar studio and a plush hotel minutes away from the beach But, Kidd wasn’t ready to sit around waiting so he caught the plane back to New Orleans with money on his mind and in grind mode.

Kidd later on branched off from the group and went solo forcing his self to work harder and become independent. Kidd then dropped his first single “Watch Me Do My Thang” which was a club banger but not strong enough. He then began working on his first solo project titled “New Kidd On Da Block” which averaged over 2000 downloads in a month. Kidd then came upon a new single titled “Hot Topic” which got a crazy response from females and Dj’s all over Atlanta and Florida so the song became the new single which he recorded in Circle House Studios with Lu Diaz who mix Dj Khaled Albums. Kidd Is still grinding and Currently Seeking a Major Deal.

Kidd has 167790 friends.
