DESCRIPTION:
Messy was founded in 1998 by Doug DeAngelis and Kevin Haskins (ex drummer of Bauhaus) to produce scores for video games, film, and television.
Doug and Kevin describe Messy as electronic alternative music, featuring guests like Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jessicka from Scarling and many other interesting individuals.
Messy Music Style is a new genre of music developed as a chemistry blend of all popular music mixed together with poetry or a rhyme scheme as the lyric. It usually consists of six genres of music: hip hop, rock, reggae, folk, pop music, and country music. The genre was started by Universal Records musician, Michael Barber. Nine Inch Nails frontman, Trent Reznor has been a key member of creating this new sound. His rock and rap mixtures seemed to pave the way.
