Ken Pulley

Hello, My name is Ken Pulley and I was born in Tennessee but we moved to Michigan when I was just a baby . At the present time, I live in Hillsdale , but lived many years in Benton Harbor and also Petoskey . One day, I will return to my beautiful state of Tennessee and live out my life in peace and happiness .



I started trying to learn how to play the guitar when I was about 12 ( I really wanted to play drums, but my mother would not allow me to play those noisy things) . Anyway, I tried for a long time to play the guitar but was never good at it but I had a lot of fun and enjoyed it anyway.



When I was about 15, I used to sing with a few bands in Benton Harbor, Michigan and tried off and on to play and sing later on in life , but finally just got tired of the whole thing and quit even trying, gave up my guitar and retired all my dreams.



I think it must have been the year 2000 when I started to have a lot of Heart trouble and had to retire from working. I guess I just needed something to fill in some of my time during the days and nights , so I bought a guitar and started trying again to learn to play. At that time, I had a few tunes rolling around in my head and decided that I would try my hand at song-writing . As they say, "the rest is history". In the years since then, I have written well over 200 ( nearing 300) songs.



I think I have some good songs to share with anyone who will listen and hope that they will be around many years after I'm gone . Of Course I would love to get some of them cut by major artists and make some money and get better known , but mostly, I want to leave something for my family and friends to remember me by .

I also love antiques and jewelry. I buy a lot of stuff and sometimes refinish old furniture . At the present time, I have many pieces of antique furniture that needs to be refinished . Need to get busy I guess
