KENI MYLES

Indiana-born and Hollywood-bound, music has given birth to a shining star. His name…KENI MYLES. KENI has been compared to various R&B greats such as Marvin Gaye, Freddie Jackson and Glenn Jones. His vocal range prove those comparisons are very accurate. Beginning at age 5, KENI sang in church choirs and school talent shows. With mounting popularity, it wouldn’t take long before people would start to notice the potential of this sultry vocalist. He decided on the obvious choice and majored in music education and theatre in college. His exceptional talent opened the right doors for him to perform on big stages- in big arenas- with big names. From there, his gift would propel him to becoming one of music’s sought after writers and voices.
Destined for stardom very early on, his hard work and determination would pay the way for more opportunities. “Our Turn Records” and “Dream Works Music” spotted KENI’S raw talent and sent him a one-way plane ticket to the ‘City of Angels’ to become lead singer for the group ‘20/20’. His career would quickly start to blossom and take him to the next level. With the help of Jim Brown -Cleveland Browns/actor, he began auditioning and booking small roles in movies such as ‘Two Can Play That Game’, starring Vivica Fox, ‘Life’, starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence and ‘Austin Powers’, starring Beyonce Knowles and Michael Myers. KENI also auditioned his way into tv shows like ‘Blind Date’and ‘Sex Wars’. ‘The Apollo’ made calls for KENI to appear on several of their shows as well.
Working behind the scenes would also be beneficial for KENI. He began writing on music scores for ‘The Bernie Mac Show’, Bullz Eye Productions “Issues” and ‘Devine Intervention’. He has also co-produced, collaborated and wrote with industry greats like Diane Warren, George “G1” Archie, Warren Campbell, Tomi Jenkins (Cameo), Buster and Shovonni, Mark Nelson, William Hanford Lee and DJ Quik. After working diligently on others’ projects, KENI began putting his personal dream team of musicians, producers and singers together and started working on his debut project “My Rhythm & My Blues”. This project’s title would be self evident with its emphasis on powerful love ballads, old school/club up-tempos and its sexy mid-tempos. The album portrays personal life stories and heartfelt memories. At the end of the day, the cr�me always rises to the top…Love conquers all… and Love has no limits.
