Keith Ward

Keith moved from Syracuse to New York City in the summer of 2005. It was in New York that Ward first met Jared Schonig (Drums) and Mike Chiavaro (Bass). The band has been developing a following and playing the New York City Club circuit ever since. The Cutting Room NYC, The Red Lion and The Living Room/Googie’s Lounge have all hosted the band.

2007 looks to be a marquee year for the band as they head in the studio to record a follow up to Ward’s first release, “3 Days Till Next Year.” “3 Days Till Next Year” sold over 1,000 copies and was featured as the Free Download of The Week on Apple’s iTunes Music Store.

The new record, produced by Randy Crafton of Kaleidoscope Sound, is tentatively called “Take Your Time” and is on track for an early summer release.

Mike Chiavaro (bass)

Mike can be found playing all over New York City with groups such as

Bell, Burlap to Cashmere, The Christine Hagan Project, Keith Ward, and

Rude Jackson. He has worked with a line-up of legendary producers

including Phil Ramone (Paul Simon, Bill Joel), Jack Douglas

(Aerosmith, John Lennon), Brian Harding (Jennifer Lopez, Dream

Theater), Anthony J. Resta (Collective Soul, Duran Duran), Anthony

Winters, and John Hill.

A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, Mike has also performed

and/or recorded with Danielle Evin, Nell Bryden, Rose Falcon, Dave

Truet's Clarify, Paul Cox, Megumi Kanda, and Bob America.

Mike endorses Ashdown Amplifiers.

Jared Schonig (drums)

Jared is currently a resident of Brooklyn, New York. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Jared graduated from the Eastman School of Music (Rochester, NY) in 2005. Shortly after graduating, he moved to New York and perfomed weekly at the famed Tavern-on-the-Green with the Dave Guidice Trio. He currently plays with the Brenda Earle Group, Jack Donahue, Julie Hardy, the Dan Loomis Quartet, Brian Vanarsdale Quintet, and more. Aside from jazz, he continues to perform with pop-rock pianist Keith Ward, and the power-quintet Thought. He has performed on albums released by Trier Records, Jazz Excursion Records, BluJazz, and Nagel-Heyer Record Label.
