Three underground hip hop fans from three extremely different upbringings met on the campus of a City College in Los Angeles; Budamunky the spectacular MPC controller, OYG the bilingual lyrical kamikaze pilot, and Joe Styles the freestyle rhyme flow encyclopedia. That same night they wrote a song and performed it the following night to an empty El Rey theatre as an opening act.
