keela, born aqueelah el-amin, a.k.a bonnie parker,a.k.a, queen of the midwest was born and raised in flint, michigan. she started rapping at a tender age of 9. by the age of 15 she was hotter than most of her male cunterparts. she spent time writing rhymes and battling in the streets. ms grown as hell,gangsta' rapper, hood nararator spits for the male and female ear.



keela grew up in a cozy house with her mother and father and brothers and sisters. she gratuated from northern high school. thereafter, she attended knoxville college in tennessee and mott college and specs howard in michigan.



by 1999, the streets have molded her. she hooked up with dirty now ceo of pad boy ent. she started recording and working on her debut album. while working on her album she featured on several artist 'albums including west pad, young d, hustleholics, skanbino mob, and ready ace feat. devin the dude.



keela album was released on october 4, 2006. the album is title the unexpected: da good and grimmey. on the album she has features by lil flip, b.g, gucci mane and bleu davincci. the album sold 1,700 copies in flint, michigan, alone on the released date,unheard of for a local artist.



keela has songs featured on a mixtape in heavy rotation in atlanta with the hittmenn d.j's, and the "mother nature" mixtape is highly anticipated in the midwest region.



keela's ability is so far from typical that it is not surprising that she can hold her own in a male dominated field. her current project is everything a debut album should be,and the best is yet to come.
