On Tuesday 29th Febuary 2008, Kaya Bousquet and a rising R&B star have died in a car crash in north London after being hit by a lorry on the M1.The driver was arrested after he smashed into the Toyota Yaris that held Danielle Campbell, 23, known as D’ Krystal,Patience Jackson, 22, Iyoni Ellington aka Melody, 23 and Kaya Bousquet,23.Model Iyoni Ellington survived. Medics pronounced Jackson dead at the scene while Campbell died later in hospital. Bouquet remains critically injured while Ellington is being treated for minor injuries. Kaya Bousquet later died in hospital.The 50-year-old lorry driver, who suffered minor injuries in the crash, was arrested and later bailed. A London Ambulance spokesman said: “Five ambulances and two fast response vehicles were called to the scene near the Edgware exit for the A1.”It is thought the friends ran out of petrol on route to a gig with US stars Joe and Mario.“Music is my passion,” said Campbell on her MySpace page. “I’ve dreamt of winning an award someday, whether it’s the Grammys, the Brits or even the Mobos.”She had been recording her debut album in the run-up to the tragedy on Saturday.
