Propably, one of theirs latest Tracks is the best characterisation, what



the both Frankfurt Guys are – even “sooo mad!” Of course they are not totally manic, but there is no other word which



can describe the two guys better. Their online presence on http://www.myspace.com/kaufemusik shows perfect, that they



are funny and odd ducks but altough always lovely and charming fellows. Of course, the most important thing is the



sound they play. By the use of their sound and the djing – they grew up from a insider tip straight to mainfloors in



the club world – and this in a little while. To specify the Kaufmann & Ferdinand sound is a little bit different –



because they are really versatile, and they surprise the crowd again and again. One of the most important argument is,



that wherever they played, they were invited to come and play again. This is definitely a good sign and tells a lot



about the skill they have. In may 2007, Kaufmann & Ferdinand started not only the label „Kaufe Musik“ but also



they began to djing together. Both guys went the typical way of a dj. They played at different parties and were also



on solo tours in many german cities. With his project “Gewalt in Ton” – had Markus Ferdinand already a status in the



“harder“ techno scene, and with his release “Dj Ferdi – A better tomorrow” on Semi Automatic (the label of Ibrahim



Alfa) it was obviously that he has nothing in common with the typical “Schranz” The Raveline magazine honoured and



praised their work. Also the called it like the music of the future. Furthermore the Raveline published an Interview



about their label “Kaufe Musik”. Especially with the label and their productions they had already much success. At



the end of may 2007, they released the first record on kaufe musik- together with „the Schmeisser“ from Kassel.



Already at the presale was really good and in the most record stores the tracks were handled directly as an insider



tip. Especially Kaufe Musik 002 “Kaufmann & Ferdinand – Technoides Verhalten zur Sommerzeit E.P.” got great feedback



from the abroad and they reached position 23 in the german club charts. With “Kaufmann & Ferdinand feat Soma Load –



Foody Dune” they took a step forward and the track became an international hit. Successive the track “Kaufmann &



Ferdinand feat.Esspapier – Shake it” was and is supported by many top acts. On the Label “München” they released



another good track which was processed by a Patrick Zigon remix. With Kaufe Musik 005; Kaufmann & Ferdinand feat.



Evensloped – Maden Magda” they smashed the the next hit. Moreover they made a remix of the track “Alex Piccini –



Miniale” as “42 Grad Guyz” together with Mule (Resopal). This was the highest flying track on Kaufe Musik until today.



As 42 Grad Guyz, they announced different remixes and an E.P. “42 Grad Guyz – We are hot E.P” on 9 Volt Musik. This



record with the tracks “Ein Lied für Magda” and “42 Grad” was also really successful and was sold out really shortly.



On Kaufe Musik 007, now following another highlight- together with Patrick Lindsey they produced a remix for “Betz



& Mule – Rattle n Roll”. This record has also great presales figures. After making a remix for Mizumo Rec.



(Chicago) for “Angel Alanis – to bad so sad”, they were signed by the techno legend – and now a remix for “Angel



Alanis feat Renee – Cage In me” and an own E.P on the Label Klientele (Chicago) is coming. Dave Clark already playing



these tracks in his radio show!!! They also will release an E.P. and one track on a V.A. on the label of DJ



Hyperactive aka Joe Manu who is a techno legend too! Also on the Label Night Drive Music, an E.P is following.



This E.P is shared between Kaufmann & Ferdinand and the Seekers (London / Ibiza). Soon they will release a remix on



Splitsound Records the Label of the Abnormalboyz from Italy.
