A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME. HI I'M KATHY PHILLIPS.AND I'M HOOKED ON DANCE MUSIC.



I've always known that I'd get myself involved in music somehow. I was in all the school choirs and bands, heck, I even tried arranging my own girl group in highschool.

I studied flute in University and then never bothered with it after I graduated cause the thought of playing the same classical songs all day long.well.let's just leave it at that. LOL



I luv luv to sing.but secretly wished that I could play the piano. Maybe it's not too late?



I always carry a tape recorder with me.I just never know when the idea for a great song pops in my head.I might hear a great conversation across from me and decide to write about it.



I love Dance music.I have always tried dabbling in other genres.which I like various genres but Dance is my First Love and that never fades. It makes me

feel ALIVE.



I recently had the pleasure of working closely with Richard Simmons.the fitness guru. I sang on his SuperSweatin' CD series. All high energy Dance songs. He was a blast to work with!



I do a lot of voice overs.it gives me a chance to bring out the big kid in me. I am 2 of the main characters of the Fisher Price Little People. I feel very blessed for that project and I have so much fun with it every time I am called in the studio for that!



I have a major shoe fetish.or would one call it a problem? I have over 300 pairs of shoes. Don't ask.



I may dress pretty girly.don't let that fool you.I am pretty much a TOMBOY at heart even though I luv the colour PINK.



I love Kinder chocolate eggs.but what I love most is the toy that's inside.



My favorite actor of all time is Johnny Depp. Big kid at heart. I love it. He can mold himself into any role he tackles. He is the king.



I am a sucker for a good "cry your heart out" movie like "My Life" starring Michael Keaton. Talk about pulling at your heart strings. I think everyone should watch that movie at least once. It will definitely put your priorities in place and make you think twice about what's important in life.



I have a shih tzu named Chewy. He is my buddy for life. Nothing like a dog who loves you unconditionally every minute of every day.



I am a huge RETRO freak and love all 80's music. One of my favourite artists is George Michael. I a huge WHAM! fan. I secretly put that CD on and dance around my room silly to I'm your Man. :P



I currently live in Toronto, and spend half of my time in LA. I am always collaborating with writers. But of course.who am I kidding.I love to WINDOW shop there too. LOL I love the weather, and love those damn palm trees. I wish I had that here in cold Toronto. Mind you, I love the city I live in but my heart is with LA.



I love Japan Street Fashion. It totally rocks. I spend my time shopping in all the funky places that order cool clothes from Japan.



The past year and a half I have spent taking care of my mom who fell ill with terminal cancer. The doctors gave her less than 2 months to live. I decided NOT to listen to them and take it upon myself to do everything I could to save my mom. After all.that's the least I owe someone who brought me into this world. I moved her into my house and fed her all organic/high alkaline foods and starved that damn cancer from sugars. I am happy to say that I am blessed to still have my mom alive and fighting every day. Her cancer tumors are shrinking and shocking the doctors. With determination, and knowledge.and lots of love and faith.I believe anything is possible.



I love to make people laugh.it is my happy drug.if they are happy.then I'm happy.
