Karianne Arntzen is a norwegian musician writing music and lyrics (in Norwegian). She formed her own band in the spring 2004. They arranged their own debutconcert as a showcase under the by-Larm in Stavanger february 2005. This "stunt" gave them several new livejobs. In june 2005 they played at the Norwegian Wood - festival, at a talentscene called Underwood. A demo with their music had been selected among over 400 demos, and they were especially happy with being picked out by a jury containing the well established artists Ane Brun and Amund Maarud. At Norwegian Underwood they performed in front of a big audience what a kick! Since their live debut they have played several concerts in Norway. They have also done supportjobs for artists like Lillebjørn Nilsen and Hellbillies. The music is known as sensitive, genuin and contains elements of jazz. They recorded their debut album " I går kveld" in February 2007 at www.bekkstudio.no, and release was October 2007 at the label www.viamusic.no. The album received very good critics in the Norwegian music press, and the sound/production has also been mentioned positively in Hi-Fi magasines like "Fidelity" and Lyd og Bilde".
The second album is in progress, and release will be March 2011. First single is out Oct 2010 and is a duet with Jan Eggum - a coverversion of "De nære ting" from 1955".
