[ITA] KALLISTI è ciò che è scritto sul pomo della discordia lanciato da Eris agli dei, per stabilire cosa fosse la cosa migliore/più bella di tutte. La band si forma nel febbraio 2006 e nel settembre dello stesso anno avrà il primo concerto. Da li avverrà l’ingresso del secondo chitarrista Stefano e la registrazione a dicembre 2006 del primo demo. Con l’inizio del 2007 avviene il secondo cambio di line up con la fuoriuscita dalla band del bassista Carlo (attuale cantante degli UPON A CURSED VESSEL) e l’ingresso di Valerio. Continua l’attività live e la composizione del nuovo materiale con un significativo cambio d’ispirazione. A maggio del 2007 avviene lun’altro cambio di lineup, ovvero Ale (batterista e fondatore della band) deve lasciare il gruppo, al suo posto entra Giorgio (ex SEE ME DANCE AT YOUR FUNERAL). Con questa formazione i KALLISTI partecipano a numerosi eventi live in italia arrivando nel novembre del 2007 ad aprire per i MAROON in entrambe le date italiane. Nel dicembre del 2007 viene registrato il primo vero EP di sei canzoni (CIVIL WAR), registrato al Woudsound studio e mixato al prestigioso STIDIO 73 da Paso. L’11 gennaio 2007 avviene l’uscità ufficiale del disco. Poco dopo aver suonato con gli Shattered Realm, Valerio lascia la band e Danez entra al suo posto.
[ENG] Kallisti is written on the golden apple thrown by Eris to the gods, to establish what is the fairest/beautiful thing above all…The band was born in February 2006 and September of the same year is gonna be for the first time on stage. From then on first will join the band Stefano, the second guitar player and suddenly Kallisti record their first demo, in December 2006. In the beginning of 2007 a new change of line up occurs as the bass player Carlo (actual singer of Upon A Cursed Vessel) give up the band but he’s soon replaced by Valerio. The live activity continue and the writing of new songs sustain significant change of inspiration. During May 2007 another change of line up happens, since Ale (drummer and founder of the band) has to leave the band, and his place is taken by Giorgio (ex-See Me Dance At Your Funeral) With this new line-up Kallisti become part of various live events across Italy, and in November 2007 they open the shows for both Maroon dates in Italy. December 2007 give birth to the first EP comprehensive of 6 songs (CIVIL WAR), recorded at Woodsound Studios and mixed at prestigious Studio73 by Paso. January 2008, 11 there will be the official release. Soon after that and having played with Shattered Realm, Valerio leave the band, and Danez, take his place.
