J. White aka Mr.
Make Me a Hit Song Take some of the hottest beats, a smooth sexy voice, production skills
(that stand up with those at the top of the industry), and ruggedly chiseled
model-like look. Mix it all together and the product would probably look
and sound a lot like J. White. J White, whose real name is Anthony Jermaine
White, was born in Blytheville, Arkansas. Due to the musical background
of his family, it was no surprise that J. White would find interest in music at
a young age. His father, a gospel singer, plays the guitar and drums, his mother
sang with a local band that had a huge local fan base, his uncle plays the
drums, numerous aunts sing and his late Grandmother, Johnnie B. White, had a
voice to be reckoned with. The young Mr. White would watch his relatives in awe
and would dream of having their talent. At the early age of eleven, J
White, along with his grandmother, would show up at church before everyone else
arrived. He used this time to practice on the drums and piano and it wasnt long
before he had mastered the basics. He also showed that he had a singing voice
beyond his years. It was when he turned 13, and his family moved to Leavenworth,
Kansas, that he truly began to see music as a future for himself. Along with a
friend, J. White formed a singing group of which he became their producer,
creating beats and melodies for them to sing to. From the beginning, his
talent was obvious but it wasn't until his uncle purchased a keyboard from Radio
Shack that he was really able to excel. His uncle would teach him some of what
he knew and when he was alone, White would teach himself what he could just by
using his ear. He played what he created for friends and local artists and
before long every artist in the area wanted him to create beats for them.
As he gained recognition in the area, he decided that he wasn't feeling
the name Anthony, so he began going by his middle name Jermaine. By sixteen, he
was always in the studio and those that knew him for his music would call him by
his initial and last nameand the name took thus the singer/
rapper/producer/label owner known as J. White was born. As word of mouth began
to spread, White also began creating beats professionally for artists like DJ
AKA Homacadi and the Naughty Kings out of California, Jazze Pha and various
underground artists. Having finished tracks for Jermaine Forrester, whose album
is now in stores, White now developing his own material and operating as the
in-house producer for Freelanze Entertainment, and recording with The Diplomats
Juelz Santana and Sho Nuff and State of Mind inc. Also K.briscoe whoe wrote "Womanizer" and Reminder on Jay z Blueprint 3 also working with Ester Dean who has wrote for Mary J, Ciara etcNow j white is signed the the Production team the TRACKBOYZAs the hottest and
most recognized producer in the Midwest, J. White has more artists requesting
songs than time permits. He is the next HOT PRODUCER to look out for in
